What should I bring to class?
You will need a yoga mat, yoga strap, a blanket and some water. I suggest only a very light meal before practicing yoga.
Do I wear shoes?
No shoes required. We practice in bare feet. Our studio is carpeted and very comfortable.
What clothing should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing for stretching and breathing. Please do not wear perfumes or colognes.
I am overweight/ anxious/ depressed, can I still practice yoga?
Yes, most definitely. Yoga is for everyone. Just about every element of yoga practice can help reduce weight. Asana’s or postures improve digestion, relieve depression, thyroid issues, and can also reduce blood pressure. Relaxation and concentration can bring relief for those suffering from anxiety and stress.

How many times per week should I practice?
If you only practice for one class a week you will experience the benefits of the practice. If you can attend more than one class a week you will certainly experience more benefits.
